Theme: Giving Hope to Our Young Adults with Intellectual Disabilities, Showcasing Skills to the World

To God be all the glory.

24th April 2026 will remain a memorable day in the history of ICCF-IYANIWURA Life Skills Residential Centre, as the centre was brought into the spotlight not only within our immediate community, but on a platform for the world to see.

The presence and impact of ICCF were deeply felt across our community, Sola Martin’s Estate, as our young adults experienced love, recognition, dignity, and joy in a truly special way.

A VISIT THAT BROUGHT JOY AND HOPE

The organizers arrived in full force with trucks loaded with gift items for our students. From the moment they arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, warmth, smiles, and genuine care. Our students felt seen, valued, and celebrated.

SEGMENT 1: TOUR OF THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE

The day began with a guided tour of our Vocational Training Centre, where our students proudly showcased their practical skills and creativity.

Stoning & Embellishments Unit:

Trainees demonstrated live production of beautifully designed slippers, Crocs, and fabric embellishments. Guests also saw how our students begin daily learning sessions using visual learning tools on the smart TV.

Hair, Wig & Revamping Unit:

Students displayed their skills in wig making, styling, and revamping, showcasing confidence and talent.

Computer / Graphics Unit:

Our students also presented their digital and creative works in graphics and computer training.

It was a proud and emotional moment as students engaged directly with the celebrity guest and visitors.

LUNCH & GIFT PACKS – KINDNESS IN ACTION

Indomie was present and prepared hot noodles on-site for everyone to enjoy. It was a delightful treat that brought smiles to many faces.
