ICCF–Iyaniwura Life Skills Center: Empowering Young Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

ICCF–Iyaniwura Life Skills Center is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where young adults with intellectual disabilities are empowered to develop their abilities, build confidence, and achieve meaningful independence.
At the heart of our approach is the development of individual care and work plans tailored to the unique strengths, needs, interests, and goals of each young adult. These personalised plans guide our support, helping us provide appropriate interventions, monitor progress, and ensure that every individual receives the right opportunities to thrive.
Our programmes focus on strengthening essential life skills, including daily living skills, communication, self-care, decision-making, social relationships, and community participation. Through structured learning and practical experiences, we support our young adults to increase their independence, dignity, and confidence.
We also provide vocational and creative development opportunities that promote empowerment and meaningful participation in society. Our training areas include computer skills, arts and crafts, vocational activities, and other hands-on learning experiences designed around each person’s abilities and aspirations.
Beyond skills development, ICCF–Iyaniwura Life Skills Center prioritises holistic support through safeguarding, protection, emotional wellbeing, and social inclusion. We believe every young adult has unique talents, strengths, and purpose, and we are dedicated to helping them discover, develop, and express their potential.
At ICCF–Iyaniwura Life Skills Center, we are building a community where young adults with intellectual disabilities are valued, respected, supported, and empowered to live fulfilling lives.
